Merry Christmas!
What a great weekend. Friday was the Jonathans Landing Members Christmas Party. We had a great turn out with over 70 people attending. The food was great and Kelly Devine from Where Pigs Fly did a great job. We started off with Shrimp,veggie dip cheese and crackers followed by a Great Meal of pulled Pork and Chicken great sides and great desserts. This was followed by a raffle and a 50/50 with the money going to a local charity Caring Hearts located at Jonathans Landing. After the prizes where given the dancing started (might have been some drinking too). Nothing but positive remarks and it was agreed that we would be doing this more often in the future. Thanks go out to Teresa Mellen for helping with the decoration and a Special thanks to Linda and Raymond Jarrell for doing all of the leg work printing the tickets & advertisements getting the prizes and the DJ.
Sat was the members 2 person scramble. It was cold but no wind (No wind at Jonathans?) 36 players including 6 ladies braved the conditions and were paid a visit by Santa Claus who arrived with some warm cheers (I think it was Rum).

Dec 20th we will try to do a Par 3 Tournament. We will set up markers making it a 18 hole Par 3 course. This is a Co-Ed Tournament. Sign up in the Pro Shop.
